About Sensory Experiences
When we are vision impaired, we often learn to rely more deeply on our other senses to connect with the world around us.
Hearing, touch, smell, and spatial awareness can become important tools for gathering information and experiencing daily life.
This program offers an opportunity to explore how powerful and meaningful our non-visual senses can be.
Activities that focus on the senses can be fun, engaging, and eye-opening. By setting aside sight for a moment and experiencing the world in different ways, we may discover new strengths and fresh perspectives.
Join us for an interactive outing that may surprise you while enhancing awareness.
