Join VIM for a Nursery Experience with Marin County Parks

From 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. 

Come join Vision Impaired Of Marin. While  we enjoy a couple of hours working with and learning about plants at the Civic Center County Parks Native Plant Nursery.

We will begin by receiving an orientation to the nursery program’s vision and purpose. Our activities will include cleaning seeds by separating the chaff from the seed of California native plants and pruning native bunch grasses with scissors.

This nursery activity includes getting dirty. Wear work clothes, gloves, a hat, bring a water bottle and bagged lunch. 

If riding Paratransit or getting dropped off meet those riding the SMART train at 10:30 am Civic Center SMART Train Station. Call Larriece or Tammy for shuttle to Nursery.

1:15 pm
