Bus Trip to Bear Valley – Native American Songs/Stories, Picnic, Nature Hike, Visitor’s Center and Souvenir Shop

Where: San Rafael Transit Center Platform C to Bear Valley 

When: October 9, 2025

Time: 10:30 am to 3:40 pm 

Schedule:

10:30: Meet at San Rafael Transit Center Platform C

10:45: Bus 68 to Bear Valley Visitor’s Center

11:52: Arrive Bear Valley Visitor’s Center

12:00: Picnic Lunch under the trees – Bring own Lunch

12:15 – 1:00: Sky Road Webb, Member of Tomales Bay Band of Coast Miwoks

Sky will share Native American Songs and Stories

Followed by option to walk the Earthquake Trail - .6 mile relatively flat, shady/sunny. and accessible including two benches along trail. Or… Explore Visitor’s Center and souvenir shop with Tammy Austin.

2:36: Bus 68 to San Rafael Transit Center

3:40: Arrive San Rafael Transit Center

Volunteers needed. Please arrange your own transportation to San Rafael Transit Center. Friends, caregivers, assistants or family are welcome. Bring your lunch, sun protection and any mobility device.
